Overview
Tukebatukes Batucada was born out of the need to communicate and express oneself through singing, dancing, and rhythm. We are a batucada group from Madrid, where we use Brazilian percussion instruments to draw on various influences (African, samba-batucada, samba-reggae, funky, techno, etc.) to recover the ultimate essence of percussion. For us, expression and communication are essential so that musicians and the audience come together in a trance of rhythm and dance to the best batucada beat. We perform all over Spain, at municipal festivals, sports events, private parties (birthdays, weddings, bachelor parties, etc.), parades, festivals... or any type of event to bring joy, color, and rhythm.
