In the year 2001, the Pediatric Cardiac Institute (IPC) was established with the aim of integrating cardiologists and pediatric cardiac surgeons into a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients with congenital heart disease.Currently, 8 cardiologists and 3 pediatric cardiac surgeons are part of the IPC, with exclusive dedication to patients with congenital heart disease.
