Overview

The Cervantes Institute is a public institution created by Spain in 1991 to promote the teaching, study and use of Spanish and to spread Hispanic cultures around the world. In our 103 centers, located in 52 countries, we offer Spanish courses and official languages of Spain as well as teacher training and organize the exams for obtaining the official Spanish DELE and SIELE titles and CCSE tests for obtaining Spanish nationality, as well as DADIC exams for teacher accreditation. To this academic activity we add a multidisciplinary program of activities for the dissemination of pan-Hispanic culture and the largest global network of Spanish libraries.
