Corría el año 1978 cuando Pedro Baños abrió su primer establecimiento de cocinas en pleno centro de Getafe -Madrid. Pronto, la capacidad de entender las necesidades de sus clientes hizo que Cocinas Río iniciara un proceso de expansión. De la mano del trabajo duro, llegó el prestigio, y con él, un nuevo establecimiento en la calle Madrid. Esta vez se estrenaba con 600m2 y más de 30 diseños de los fabricantes más prestigiosos a nivel nacional e internacional. En su afán por ofrecer acabados y tecnología de vanguardia Cocinas Río sigue su rumbo y es en 2006, con la apertura de su actual showroom de 1000m2, cuando se convierte en una de las empresas más importantes a nivel europeo. Sus más de 50 exposiciones son renovadas de forma constante.
