Overview
The set of buildings that formed the Royal Stables was built in 1771 by the architect of Charles III, Juan Esteban.The set had Stables, Carriages, Quarters and Rooms for the occupations and employees, the House of the Travelling Occupations and the House and Stable of the Royal Officer. A reflection of the importance of these buildings and the function they performed is in their location, next to the Monastery and with easy road access from the same and next to the House of the French Consul who was the most influential person in the court of the Bourbons and the first to know the arrival of the news.
